MV gfx: September 2012

Wonder what is light painting?? Its not a maya or photoshop creation, just a camera trick. I saw this first time on my friend Arun Vijay's profile on orkut. Since then I had wished to create a similar one. After long time, today, I got time for it. Couldnt wait till night(during which light painting looks most beautiful) , so I created alphabets of my name through four snaps on my Kodak C143 camera.. Afterwards, joined them together in photoshop.

How its done: No theory need to be followed, just keep the exposure time on your digital camera as high as possible, then move an illuminated object (here I used my mobile screen) in a path that you want to illuminate. Make sure that you dont move it too slow or it wont be successful. The light painting works best at night. Make sure you turn off your flash. Let me make another turn at night.. ;) :)
